As the holiday season progresses, drivers are reminded that safety on the roads is a primary concern. BCATS and other area units of government are pleased to promote the "Holiday Season Impaired Driving Prevention" effort being promoted nationwide. From December 16, 2011 to January 2, 2012, the "Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest." national enforcement initiative is being recognized.
On November 16, 2011, the BCATS Policy Committee adopted a resolution encouraging all persons to promote safer and healthier behaviors regarding the use of alcohol and other drugs. See the adopted resolution above.
